Before founding Rivera Employment Law, Kevin Rivera started his career at one of the world’s top business law firms. He is an experienced attorney devoted to providing high-level legal work, counsel and advice for entrepreneurs, startups, and companies of all sizes across a wide variety of industries including technology, media, law, entertainment, finance, real estate, manufacturing, construction, and hospitality.
Kevin began his legal career at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton in the firm’s Los Angeles office in 2006, where he represented and advised employers of all sizes and across industries for 7 years.
Kevin received his J.D. from UC Berkeley and his B.A. from Cal State Fullerton. He is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators, the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Kevin has authored numerous articles on employment law that have been published by organizations such as the California State Bar and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He was featured on the cover of the March 2018 issue of Los Angeles Lawyer Magazine.
